Lucy Hunt (A.I.D.T.A)

     Principle & Teacher

My dance journey began at just two and a half years old, when I discovered a love for dancing that has never left me. From a young age, I was drawn not only to performing but also to teaching—there’s nothing more fulfilling than watching pupils grow and flourish into confident dancers.

Throughout my training, I performed in local pantomimes, competed in dance competitions across the UK, and in January 2019, proudly achieved my IDTA teaching qualifications. A lifelong dream came true later that year when I launched the Lucy Hunt School of Dance in Welwyn. In 2021, we expanded into Bedford, introducing classes that became a natural progression for babyballet® Bedford graduates to continue their dance journeys with me.

In 2022, I took on a new role as a babyballet® franchisee, sharing the joy of dance with even more little stars in Stevenage and expanding classes to Hitchin a year later. It’s an honour to teach and inspire every pupil who walks through our doors each week—and I can’t wait to see them all sparkle on stage like the stars they are!

Miss Libby

Teacher

Dance has been a part of my life since the age of three and has grown into one of my greatest passions. Over time, that passion evolved into a love for teaching and inspiring young dancers. I became part of the Lucy Hunt School of Dance. team in 2020, and it’s been a joy to watch our pupils grow in confidence, skill, and expression each week.

In addition to completing my International Dance Teachers Association dance examinations, I’ve had the privilege of performing in theatre productions and competing in dance competitions—experiences that have deeply shaped my journey. One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching is seeing our students flourish and take to the stage with pride and excitement. I can’t wait to watch them shine in our upcoming performances.
